About Basha Investments

Basha Investments is a family-led group founded by Osama Basha. It invests in and runs small, focused technology companies, most of them in Saudi Arabia.

We look for specific problems that large companies serve poorly: moving cars by flatbed, trading distinctive number plates, installing shades, finding food trucks, and bus travel between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. For each one we build a small company with its own brand and customers.

Each company does not build a full team of its own. It gets recruitment, technology and marketing from the group's operating companies, so its own team stays small and close to its customers.

How we invest

  1. Pick a clear problem. A specific customer, a transaction that repeats, and evidence that people will pay.
  2. Start small. Launch a first version with the group's teams and measure real demand.
  3. Fund in stages. More capital follows when a company shows repeat demand and sound unit economics.
  4. Stop what does not work. The team and the capital move to the companies that are growing.

Letter from the founder

I started Basha Investments so that my family's future would not depend on one company or on one person's decision.

Our Saudi company, Basha Technology Investments, is registered with the Ministry of Investment with SAR 30 million (USD 8 million) in capital, and our first portfolio of apps has been released: Carsilha, Dhil, Numerazzi and Kalamashi, with more in build.

Our thesis is simple. A small company that solves one specific, repeated problem can be a strong business if it does not have to build everything alone. In our group, apps share recruitment, technology and marketing, so each one starts with more than a founder could afford.

By December 2026 we plan to form a community panel, so the people our apps serve have a voice in what we build next.

And we want the people who run these companies well to own a share of them.
